Love One Another (Discipleship)

The mission of North Wake Church is to reach the lost and equip them to join with us in the process of becoming mature and ministering worshipers of God.

Love One Another…In Discipleship

Our mission is to equip the church to make disciples. We believe that this is done most effectively in the community of the local church. North Wake is centered around small groups for the express purpose of creating a culture of spiritual growth in community. It is our conviction that relationships are paramount to the advancement of God’s Kingdom...our relationship to God, our relationship to one another, and our relationship to the world (Mark 12:28-31). Therefore, all of our ministries work in and through these groups as one of the central catalysts for maturity and ministry in the body.

We believe that every member of the body is uniquely gifted by the Holy Spirit to serve God, minister effectively and humbly to other members, and advance the Kingdom (Eph. 4). It is our intention to build a body of Christ-centered believers, fully devoted to serving one another through relationships full of grace and truth that lead to a Christ-honoring fellowship. However, the process of making disciples cannot stay within the community - the church must be sent out with the goal of making disciples of all nations (Matt 28:19-20).

The ultimate purpose of life is the worship and glorification of God. When we gather as the church, our purpose is to fulfill and fuel the mission we were created for: to spread the glory and worship of God among all peoples. As God's people, we worship Him for who He is and what He has done, submitting to the authority of His Word and responding with the aspiration to live as mature and ministering worshipers of God (I Cor. 10:31).
